For over 50 years, Josh Powell Camp has remained a place for kids to be kids, unplug and play in the great outdoors. We offer 11 sessions during the summer, as well as camps during Fall, Winter and Spring breaks, for 5-9 year olds. No tech distractions, just simple outdoor fun. A typical session includes the following activities, but there are always some fun additions made by our creative counselors. Summer 2026 opens January 20th, 2026 at 12:00pm

Another great summer at Josh Powell! My kids liked the camp last year but they really enjoyed their time this summer. My son loves the canoeing and my daughter loves the ropes course and can't wait until she can do the more challenging ones. They both really like archery. Tip for parents - use quick dry towels because wet clothes and towels in book bags are not great.
