SPRING BREAK – RoboPets Robotics meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and introduces young builders to the world of robotics through fun, animal-inspired creations. Students design and build robotic pets using motors, sensors, gears, axles, and a robot hub, then bring them to life with icon- and Scratch-based programming. They learn core programming skills such as reading and debugging code, using loops, sounds, variables, and responding to sensors. Students also identify key mechanical elements before building to better understand how each part works together. The program emphasizes following verbal and written instructions in a supportive, engaging environment. Through small-group work and partner projects, students develop communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills while having fun designing habitats and caring for their robotic pets—because while you may not have an alligator at home, you can build one at Snapology!
