Steve & Kate’s Atlanta–Midtown Winter Break Camp is a super-flexible, kid-led program for ages 5–12 held at The Children’s School in Midtown. Running December 22–January 2 (closed Dec 24–26 and Jan 1), it offers full-day care from 8:00am–6:00pm where campers get to choose their own adventures all day long. Instead of a fixed schedule, kids decide what they want to do, who they want to do it with, and how long to stay—building independence, confidence, and creativity in a way that feels like pure fun. Activities span a big “menu” of options like stop-motion animation, sewing and stitching, tinker lab maker projects, media/coding labs, arts and crafts lounges, and indoor sports and rec games—plus special pop-up surprises during the session (think board-game tournaments, game shows, bounce-house days, and guest art workshops). Lunch and snacks are included daily, with kid-friendly options and allergy-aware practices.
