Steve & Kate’s Atlanta Summer Camp is a wildly flexible, kid-led day camp for ages roughly 4/5–12 held at Springmont School in Atlanta. Instead of locking kids into a rigid schedule, campers choose what they want to do minute-to-minute — picking activities, friends, and how long to stay at each station. That freedom is the heart of the program: kids explore their interests, try new things, and build independence and confidence in a supportive, judgment-free environment. The activity “menu” is broad and creative, mixing hands-on making with high-energy play. Campers can bounce between spaces like the Media Lab and Coding, Sewing Salon, maker/tinker projects, baking, arts & crafts, sports and rec, plus water games and weekly pop-up specials (think inflatables, talent shows, big water slides, and their classic Friday Pie Day tradition). Meals and snacks are included, and the long camp day (about 8am–6pm) makes it easy for working families.
